As we live across the ocean, it was very difficult for foreigners like Lucy and I to plan our wedding in Denmark. How do we find the right wedding venue? The right photographer? The right stylist? The right wedding planner? And most importantly, who can we trust?
Once we realized we needed to hire someone to help us plan and organize our wedding in Denmark, we set out to search (randomly and somewhat confused) for a wedding planner. It was not a trivial task. We emailed a couple of wedding planners and agencies. Some replied while others didn’t. Obviously it was important for us to receive timely response from the potential organizer so that was one of our measuring criteria. Luckily for us, Ditte was very responsive. Not only that, she would provide lots of suggestions and insights into the small details for our wedding such as the flower types for our bouquet, the wedding cake, dinner venue, etc.
Ditte helped us negotiate for discount for our hotel which is near our wedding venue @Kronborg Castle. She was very patient with us as our plan kept evolving and changing, from the number of guests to our photographer and stylist. Ditte also helped us arrange for our transportation to and from Kronborg Castle. Without her, it would have been very challenging for us to complete the wedding.
Lucy and I had a wonderful wedding, all thanks to Ditte. We highly recommend her to all couples looking to have their wedding in Copenhagen (and its neighbouring towns/cities). She is very attentive to details and is very on top of schedules.
